I have produced a range of high-profile campaigns to get people excited about reading and to develop new audiences for the literature sector. From Edinburgh to Australia, I’ve come across great ideas that have inspired me to help creative folk get the best platform possible to promote their work.
Publications & Media
I’ve written for a number of companies, including Time Out, Encyclopaedia Britannica and UNESCO, and for a range of literary blogs. I’ve been on the telly and the wireless, championing books and reading, and former MP Gyles Brandreth, he of the woolly jumpers, called me ‘an expert on the city of Edinburgh’ on the BBC One Show. This was both surreal and nice – it may even be accurate.
I work with lots of fellow literary ninjas, and some of them have been kind enough to write some words about working with me. To thank them, I gave them cake and tea.
Clients and Collaborators
I’ve worked with companies big and small: from UNESCO, Creative Scotland and Edinburgh World Heritage to spoken word groups and start-up charities.
